Manathidal è una parrocchia nata nel 1942 e conta 8 sottostazioni con una popolazione mista tra induisti che sono in maggioranza, cristiani, dalit e gente di casta e che vivono serenamente in comunità. A causa dell’assenza dei Monsoni il livello dell’acqua è molto basso ed è necessario scavare più a fondo per avere l’acqua.
La presente richiesta riguarda quindi lo scavo di un pozzo e la costruzione di una cisterna sopraelevata secondo il modello qui in uso.
Il progetto è stato completato in agosto 2019 e la benedizione è stata fatta dal vescovo il 4 settembre.
